People choose home euthanasia for many reasons. Some people and pets prefer the comfort and familiarity of their own home to say goodbye, whilst others find traveling to the vet a challenge. Home euthanasia means any family members including pets who wish to be present can do so. Home euthanasia also allows time and space for as individual a goodbye as you would like.

No. All our patients receive a sedative injection under the skin which will aid in relaxing and removing any fear or anxiety prior to euthanasia. The sedative can have a tiny sting to it, but most of our patients are too busy receiving cuddles from you or eating treats to notice.

Yes. In many cases being at home removes some of the stressors your pet may have experienced elsewhere. We also have many options that allow us to sedate your pet without causing unnecessary distress. Please advise us at the time of booking of any special considerations your pet may need.

Depending on your preferences you may elect to have your pet cremated (either with or without ash return), buried at a public pet cemetary (such as Lawnswood Pet Cemetery) or you may elect home burial (subject to local council regulations). Please refer to the Fees page for costs associated with these options.

Most areas are included in our fees, however there may be a mileage surcharge on areas that require extended travel.

We will endeavour to accommodate you any time 24/7 when you need us. We don't believe in penalising you for needing us at night, at short notice, or on the weekend. Please call for an appointment time.
